  • video of that big, fast aatv?

    a while back i was watching videos on here and came across this huge, boat looking aatv that goes really fast on land and water, i wanted to watch it again but cannot find what page i was one, does anyone know where i can find that? i want one of those!! hmmm i will have to decide between that and a mud ox, lol

            this video is it, that thing is crazy!!! do they sell those or did someone custom build it? i just think it is so cool!

              the high speed tracked one is the machine i was thinking of

              i looked at those land tamers before i bought my max, they did look cool but i am thinking they were way expensive and a lot bigger, wish i could have 5 diffferent machines

              lets see i want the high speed tracked one
              a 8 wheel land tamer
              a mud ox
              an 8 wheel argo
              and a max ll

              i guess i could do that if i got rid of all my trucks and used these in place of them, lol
              that high speed one looks like it would go on the highway ok

                That machine is called the Ripsaw, and if I remember correctly, it was a prototype vehicle built to compete in the DARPA challenge. Which was a 1 million dollar prize for a vehicle that could navigate a wilderness course autonomously.

                  It's not the ripsaw one, it's the amphibious one posted in the video above. The ripsaw wasn't amphibious but you are right about the DARPA.
