National Donut Day!! Wassat ?? I just heard it on the news

Funny I never heard of that donut day before yesterday like when did that start happening... Anywho,


Got some stuff set up in the break room for everyone. Green Chili Breakfast Burrito Casserole, Biscuits and Gravy, Buckwheat Buttermilk Pancakes, Fresh Fruit Salad, Tomato juice, Coffee or Tea

Ham-and-Cheese Strata, Honey-Yogurt Dip with Fresh Fruit, Orange-Mango Juice, Fresh Roasted Coffee.

Bacon (1/2lb), eggs (4),tea and toast (4 slices), fresh caught trout (3, approx 1/2 lb each) (this morning) fried in bacon fat.....and this is just a snack to hold me over until the turkey is finished cooking.....

How did you do that turkey guy? I'm hunger and think I need to throw a turkey breast on the smoker now.

Done the turkey the easy way...Had my wife cook it....

It was cooked slowly in a roasting pan on low heat, basting every hour or so. She added some spices...not sure what....I do know that it was great tasting and not to dry.

Time to get ready and cook a moose stir fry.....Nice chunks of moose, red, green, yellow and orange sweet peppers, green oninon, fresh mushrooms, baby carrots, celery, baby corn and some other veggies I cannot spell....serverd over a plate of steaming fluffy white rice.

Nothing wrong with "Tree Grizzly" steaks. Carefull though, I've had one go for my throat..... They can be fast merciless killers.
