  • Southern US snow and ice....

I was just wondering how you folks down south are handling the ice and snow so far. I checked in with one of the Carolina boys, and he says things are just about shut down and it's snowing like crazy. Now's a perfect time for a Busco run, if you ask me. Who's down?

    Drive safely out there...

We even had about an inch in Dallas. It had a firm black ice base. I took an Adair tracked argo around the community and opened up a path. It didn't last long. Hope the folks in the ATL fare better this time.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
          Joe Camel never does that.

Well the weather channel called for snow tonight at 8 p.m. in Savannah, Ga, but I'm looking out my livingroom window, and I see nothing. It was cold today thou, lots of ice rain, no garage time for me today. It would be nice to see some, but for the sake of most southerners down here, they will be stranded, not being used to driving in snowy conditions. Although, I'm halfway through rebuilding my wife's Max IV, the Hustler is ready to ride if we do see any snow tomorrow!! Thanks for checking up on us down here Mike!!

I'm working in San Angelo TX, that stuff hit here yesterday. Tried to go to work but saw 3 up side down vehicles within a mile of the motel, so we turned around and came back to motel. Today was in the 60's though.

Me and Mel have been laughing it up with all the snow talk for Southern GA, I have been station here for about 9 years total and have yet to see any snow in Hinesville, but it would be funny to see everyone that isnt use to driving in snow and ice. I took it all in and learned all I could while I was station up in KS and Mel being from IA is use to snow and ice. I do hope everyone is prepared and smart enough to stay off the roads as much as possible if they are not use to this type of weather.
