been snowing all night and still dumping it down. looks to be a good foot so far and may not stop till 2 feet. can't wait to get out and test my max 2 homemade half tracks. made a set of chains with cleats for the front two tires so we'll see. hey don, you probably are not going to work, so get a machine ready and come over saturday. that would be cool. have fun. johnboy va.

We got about 10 inches in southern NH and topped off with a nice coating of ice when I it turned to rain late last night. I took my max 2 out for a cruise around the neighborhood and out thru the woods, kinda funny how the people look at you when you go flying by them on the street while they are trying to shovel out there cars

johnnova, what is the deepest snow you can handle in your max without tracks. tried yesterday in 18 inches with my halftracks, only 8'' wide, and front chains. just not enough footprint. they work good up to about 10'' and better in mud. i think i am going to make them longer to include the front tire, then add another 6'' of track width to the outside. i see why you need '' real tracks'' for deep snow. johnboy va.
