State trooper

So this fella gets pulled over by a State Trooper. The trooper says, "I'm on my way home, but you were really movin' so I had to pull you over. IF you have a good reason you were going so fast I might let you go." Without hesitation the fella says, "10 years ago my wife ran off with a State Trooper. When I saw you comin' I thought you were bringing her back." The Trooper smiled and went his way.
