Gee Noel, we must be related.
I got in on this one kind of late, but it has made for some interesting reading.
I'd say that there are probably many problems with the widget manufacturer,as is typical with most businesses....even if they don't like to hear it. At some point if the issues are in fact large, and persist, it makes it easy for another competing widget manufacturer to steal away market share. If there is no real competition, then maybe a new start-up? Anybody want to start a widget manufacturing business with me? You supply the capital...and the labor....I'll just share the profits if it ever makes any. LOL

I'd like to partner with Jim in this new venture, still looking for the capital and labor versions and Jim forgot to mention we'll be needing a design team willing to put up some investment.

      Joe Camel never does that.

Lets try a fresh take on this. Multi level marketing. I'll be at the top of the pyramid, ArgoJim at second tier, Who wants to be third? I'm liking this idea more and more. I just sell you on the idea of selling widgets (whether they are worth buying or not) and you do all the work...I just share the profits. Now we just need to find a foolis....uh I mean wise manufacturer to make them for us.
