What chassis did you use? Looks like maybe Chevy straight axle?

The frame is from a Ford as well as the front and rear axles . Dana 44 front axle,Dana 60 rear ,leaf spring susp. all around. Engine is a Ford 300 straight 6 attached to a np435 manual 4 speed transmission with a np205 transfercase.

Nice specs. Have you checked out parabolic springs? They give much better control and comfort over standard leaf springs. I saw a Jeep Grand Cherokee with parabolic springs at a mud hole and it really articulated.

I've always likes the Ford straight 6, nice and torquey, not a high revving engine but plenty stout.

Noel,I pretty much used what I had in my spares pile . The front springs are actually from a mid 70s dodge. The rear springs are just a mix. I scratch built all of the body except the hood, windshield frame and hmmwv top and door kit. I wasn't really a big fan of hummers but thought a truck with removable top and doors would be cool.
