thanks, guys. I was the only one in the truck, thank goodness, and I'm okay (pretty sore- stuff like this reminds you that you're not 20 anymore). I was coming home from work Friday night ready for a week's vacation when a pilled-up punk in a minivan decided to pull a pit maneuver at interstate speed. Call it what you want: help from above, dumb luck, or a strong seat belt and a really hard head (or a combination of them all), I feel pretty lucky to have walked away with some sore parts and some superficial cuts. Sue said the driver's side didn't compress because my head was in the way.
