  • Grayling fishing with a fly and stick

    While out working I came across this little creek, so I dug through my stuff and found a couple flies and a bit of line. Managed to entice a few Grayling to jump for a meal.

          Used to catch grayling and trout like that in Alberta when I was younger. Half a dozen like that would make a good meal.

            THE RIVERS ARE SO LOW AROUND HERE YOU COULD USE ICE WATER FOR BAIT.

              That happens every summer around here. A lot is from farmers sucking the water out for irrigation. The water drops a lot. Not near as high as it was when I was a kid and less farmers irrigated.
