    Big Fricken Bison

    This bugger just keeps getting larger, these pics don't do him justice at all. We call him Brutus, and we've been watching him for yrs now. He used to have a couple cows with him, but they've gone the way of the Dodo. Brutus winters with the Ft Liard Herd, but Summers with us at one of our Remote Sites.

        That's one M-E-A-N lookin' critter!!! But cool! I wwas at Sturgis a few years ago, and in our touring we only saw 3 buffs. A few months later we were cruising the I-state (here in Wisconsin) and saw a couple herds (on farms of course) just 20 miles from home. How wierd is that!!!
        It's all just nuts and bolts.

          That's a lot of buff. there is a small heard of them here in Hancock Md. I was surprised to see them in this area. Amazing animals for sure. to think at one time they were almost all gone.WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!

                    He don't look a pet, i think i have seen him on a nickle.
                    Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
