  • California cant leave nothing alone

found out this weekend that the Argo dealer cannot bring in the 2010 model 6X6 couse the engines are not smog controled. so Argos going to have to put the big engine that the 8X8 use so that they can be sold here. the county tax assessor want to no what the beam and drift as well as my water displacement on my Argo Frontier figured out my tonage to be about 1/4 ton. Found out about the new engine law while at the sportsmen expo, told them they needed to sale or atleest have a 6X6 with a role bar on display, couse the new law also says to use state park I need a role bar and seat belts. good thing there plenty of fed forest to play in.

Hey, don't feel too bad, NY isn't much better. While they don't have as bad a pollution control dysfunction, We basically ban riding on anything worth riding. So you need to figure, obey the law and have no fun, or ride and hope you don't get caught. There are some areas I have been that may not be "official" but I don't bug anyone, don't litter or hack new trails, and have yet to be bothered. At least you can ride in state parks at all though. That's one thing I can't do, and no matter how nicely I ride, Mr. Ranger isn't gonna like that!
