Larry, I saw the ad too. FMC/Bolens made a Diablo-Rouge snowmobile but I don't think they called their atv a Diablo but the name and red color was very popular with Bolens so I thought the name was a hint/link back to Bolens, but I could not find anything out on the name. Rupp made the Ruppster, which to me this machine resembles in a little way, but it was not an amphib. It appears to be in nice shape but I think something this small is really dependant performance wise on those 1 piece bouncers. It looks like there is a sticker at the back of the machine. Did the owner know anything more than that it's 8hp and where did he get the name of it from? Maybe it's a Fox Corporation product.

Thanks for the info! I dont really know anything more about it. I think the ruppster is a little more curvey and not so bath tub like. That Bolens info sounds promising.
If anyone goes to see it , look it over close. I bet its a 2wd. I can't see from the pics where the chain would run, and it looks like the left front tire is not straight.

Hey Jersey, does your buyers guide list sears sportster? That would be a neat book to get a look at.
I have freinds in Portland, I will ask if they remember anything about the company/factory/machine.
It is a solid axle in the back, it powers both back wheels. The front wheels are not powered. They steer like a lawn mower. I had one that we put a yamaha 440 snowmobile engine in. I wish I still had it! It was insane! This is a very, very light machine.
