  • Thanks Don

I just had the chance to visit Don and view his collection today while picking up a few parts. I'm sure that most of you know it already but he is a great guy. He not only took the time to answer several questions I had but also dug his Super Swamp Fox out of a snow bank just so I could check it out. I had never seen one in person. What an incredible machine. It is people like Don who make this site as great as it is and keep the sport going. Thanks Don and all the members like him that take the time to help others out.. I hope that I can do the same someday.

Yes, i agree with you Jay. A fine, fine fellow.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

He's one of the nicest guys & AATV nuts this site has to offer. He has to get just a little bit older to become a legend though.

All the kind words! Shoot, I don't get the chance to BS about amphibs that much- the boys have heard it all and no one else at home will listen! Jay's a really good listener; it was a pleasure to have him poke around in the amphib graveyard.
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

          Donmember!!!
Thanks Jay for posting kind words to Don and Don for helping fellow members.
As far as the BS about amphibs go, I was the same way when you came over, I kept rambling about 6 wheelers. I felt bad cuz I knew you had a long ride back. Sorry about that! But seems you didnt mind me rambling to much.

Don is a wonderful person to have on the site. He helped me out with drums for the skid steer and the part numbers for the seals. I have it back together and will be test driving tomorrow. I am so happy that he was there to help. THANKS DON!

Don is such a huge and positive part of this hobby. He has always helped me out with parts, emails, tech support, tours of his machines, and he even had me over for dinner with him and his family when I was passing through. And Don, if there's anything at all you might ever need feel free to ask anytime. Thanks a million!!!

                      eh. Don's just ok.

Now GEORGE ! GEORGE is a hell of a guy!

I like George way better. I once saw George pull the Apache over just to save a puppy that was stuck in the mud. Don just cruised by and laughed.

Don is a great guy. Has helped me with many Q's as I learn this great hobby, and both he and Sue were gracious hosts (Who happen to make some kick-a** Wings to boot) as myself and several other members met at his place to BS 6ing and check out his collection.
