New forum member here. I learned of this site after watching a video of an old springer racing buggy. I noticed it had the same racing team name and number my old Tiger 500 3 wheeler has. The Tiger 500 is the only production 500 3 wheeler ever made. 15 frames were made and 10 trikes actually produced. I'm looking for more info on TruWay Racing. Maybe someone knows members or riders or family. Looking for any or all info, pics what have you. Any info is welcome and appreciated. Here are a couple pics of my trike.

The poor trike had been through alot. If was converted in a 4 wheeler at one time, but was converted back to a trike by the person I bought it from. The fenders were undamaged until early 2008 when the trike was flipped in an unfortunate dirt drag accident. The rider was bruised and his pride was hurt, but otherwise undamaged. The fenders were fiberglassed from the underside. If you could tell me any history of this trike, it would be appreciated. It's pretty special to me. Do you have any old pictures you could share or stories? Thanks for posting.

Very nice machine you've got there. I don't have to say it but I'm a die-hard 2-stroke guy. I WAS hunting for a 250R, but that's the nicest trike I've seen. Too bad it's SO rare, I'd LOVE to find one. ( Of course I seem to find odd and rare stuff that costs me three times what I plan on spending, without fail.)

People on here seem to have as much wrapped up in redoing thier 6x6. They are kind of hard to find though, but then so again, I imagine some of your buggys are pretty rare. I do have a wide front tire Tiger 250 liquid cooled that I"m almost finished restoring. Everything powdercoated and reproduction fenders in fiberglass. Everything fresh in the engine and alot of new parts. Being a racer, they really are quite simple. And you can still get the rotax engine parts.
