For now when i get some time I have a wheel bearing to replace.. then the tires go on.. thats good to hear they should work.. I have 8x8 rims.. I got a little R/C experience also.

Nice video, how bad was the damage? Are you running spektrum? I've run into Voltage issues rock-crawling with spektrum, great till voltage drops, then it's worse than AM.

Very cool video. There are several guys around here that fly those choppers. Love the on board video camera.

I fly my helis via a moniter... I see what the heli sees.. The farthest I've went out so far is 3,000 ft... that's creeping up on 3/4's of a mile out.. the farther you go out the higher you should be as the RF waves bounce off the ground otherwise.. people think it's kinda strange when I fly off and they lose sight of it.. they're like WTF? how's he flying it? then they see my head in a box with the radio in my hand.. The GPS helps me track it if i go down...just plug the cordinates into my iphone and get to finding it.. the center is a Radar screen that shows my relation to the spot i took off from.. That day it was jacked up so that should have been a clue things weren't in my favor. I had turned my back to it so the waves had to go through me to get to it... which shortened the flying distance,,, that was the reason for the crash we found out later.. the speed is on the left , altitudude on the right , All other data displayed is battery usage, satellites, wattage ,rpm's ect.. here's a good clip when the GPS and radar are working as they should.. Keep in mind this thing is 24" nose to tail and costs a few bux more than i have in my ATTEX ... My Trex 500 is slightly larger with a pivoting camera mount.. thats why i like my Attex so much more these days .. it doesn't fall out of the sky!
