Dave, the quality you see has to do with what type of file was uploaded to Youtube. All mine are camcorder to dvd, then the full mpeg to youtube. But they don't look very good, because of youtube's compression scheme. The Helmet Cam Central site had a note about what file is best to send to youtube. There's a couple of specific codecs.. also if you can get your video file deinterlaced, that makes a big difference. Thanks for the insight about how different ways of formatting video files can affect the video quality displayed on U-tube . I was not aware of this .Last edited by mudbug3; 11-27-2007, 01:06 AM.
