argo iinsurance woes in ontario

last saturday i phoned my insurance company to insure my argo.everything went smooth because i had set everything up earlier in the month.220 bux a year for fire,theft and liability.so tonight the lady i dealt with phones to inform me that they(TD insurance)had made a mistake,and they dont insure AATV'S or any ATV with more then 4 wheels.their
giving me 7 days to find another insurer then i get a registered letter to notify me of cancellation.anyone here in ontario have an insurance company that will cover argo's.

I deal with the co-operators and I think I pay around $170 for my argo, at first they would not cover it until I provided them a proof of ownership.

I have been with for years, and just added it, I'm trying to find another company name a buddy is with, but he is not home, I will find out and let you know.

I'm currently with the cooperators, they haven't confirmed that they will insure my argo yet but if not; I've been looking into BrokerLink. They do ATV insurance and have discounts if you are an OFAH member.

lm haVING THE same nightmare ,,,,,im in KITCHENER ,,68 playcat no one wants to insure...one outrages quote of 700$ if they accept the 5 number serial number ...went threw hell getting the ownership from the ministry took 2 different offices before l got one...the first declined after phoning TORONTO and saying they dont issue one because it has 16 wheels...the second office l made it clear they are boogie wheels and it is a tracked machine skiddoo type and got one with an affidavid..does anyone carry vintage insurance for these any help would be appreciated ,,,im waiting to go ice fishing with it

I got a confirmation from BrokerLink today that they deal with a provider that will insure my Argo and the overall rate they gave me is much cheaper than Cooperator's. I guess someone is going to be losing my business.

finally got insured through the same company that insures our hunt camp.palmer insurance in fenelon falls,state farm is the underwriter.

I got insured with state farm in Barrie with no problems .I already have insurance with them for my cars so they added the argo
