  • Northern BC Trappers Rendezvous "Dog Pull"

Ft Nelson (Northern BC) held their Trappers Rendezvous yesterday, and I managed to make it to the "Dog Pull" event. I missed the first bit, but managed to catch some good stuff. This is a fun event, and it's easy to see that even the dogs get excited.

It's a little slow at the begining, with the lighter dogs, but it picks up fast.

Wow, that's really amazing. I love how enthusiastic the dogs get. Storm just hunkered down and pulled nice and slow on a lot of those. I'm not sure what muscles were doing the most work; the sled pulling muscles, or the tail waggin muscles...

Thanks for sharing! I guess the Iditarod started this past Saturday. That's always such an amazing race.
