  • Light bulb changer for tall ceilings

here is something i made up some time ago and it came in handy today

slit the 2" ABS tubing into four pieces about 3" long and heat them to bend the prongs outwards

with some contact cement glue strips of old tire tube to the inside of the stips (for grip)

screw the piece of tubing to a long stick to reach the ceiling

the light bulb will stay in the holder to screw it in, it will also take the old one out, just try to get things lined up straight so that you don't cross-thred it
It works good and is easy to build, for those of you that don't like climbing to the top of a wobbly ladder
He who has not cruised the back country in a 6x6 , has not lived life to it's fullest
A Mans level of mechanical education directly corresponds to the level pain suffered while getting it

Nice. I saw something similar a while back only it wasn't as sophisticated as yours It was a plastic cup cut into four pieces and taped onto an extendable handle.
