I'm with Larry and George, that is real cool. Did he talk to you through his guitar? Now that would have been uber cool.

Lewis is right, without y'all fighting for us, we wouldn't be able to enjoy life the way we have it, not to mention music! Thanks!!

A funny story to go with the picture. A 18 or 19 year old wounded soldier in the room next to me was ask if he minded if Peter Frampton looked in on him he said loud enough I heard him "who the hell is that" I was 41 at the time and kind of got a laugh out of it

That's funny, but so true. Whipper happened to pull guard duty for a USO tour in Nam & the guys got to see the Gold Diggers. Ever heard of them? It's O.K. if you haven't 'cause even though they were hot in their day, they are all old ladies now. How time flies.

                  BTW, Thanks.

Thank Guys and Whipper was the Gold Diggers your favorite band "just joking" When I was a kid I was stationed on the DMZ in South Korea and they brought Tommy 2 tone for a USO show he by 1987 was already out of style his only big hit was you know 8675309 which he played many times that night. Then came and drank with the guys. Even in bad places you can have fond memories. Never got any USO shows in Mosul Iraq maybe do to the regular incoming mortars on our airfield.

Thanks Bridget!!!! When you mentioned the Gold Diggers beautiful memories flooded my mind....and then you said they were all old ladies now....those hot chicks memories were replaced with thoughts of support hoses and blue hair.
