Dave Bures passed away today.
The Man who helped get my father (and I) into 6x6's over 30 years ago passed away today from a 4 month fight w/ cancer. Some of you may know him from Tru Way r.v.'s and racing in the 70s/80s. Uncle Dave will be missed.
I'll post any more details as they come along.

I found out this morning that Dave's son (my cousin) Kevin passed away unexpectedly last night at the age of 38. He passed out at an RC car race after complaining of a headache.
It's possible a few of you met him on Sunday at Ashtabula. That was the only time in over the past 10 years that I got to see him.
He was the guy helping get the engine started on the springer below (which he also raced years ago)

Techfx. Sorry, and I was feeling on top of the world today until I read your post. I just knocked some nuts and bolts off my old springer and dropped some U-joints and thought I was having a good day. Read about your cousin and saw the springer photo and reality asked me to sit down and contemplate how fortunate I am. When I finish this post I'm going to hug my wife and daughter.Acta non verba
