6X6 slot car

over thanksgiving, i visited my grandmother and she had me go through some of my recently departed grandfathers things. among them were some of his old slot cars. when i was a kid he had a HUGE track in the basement. not as big as the commercial tracks, but the length of the house. in any case, it kept me busy! anyway, my trip down memory lane led me to build a somewhat smaller version for my son... (at least that's what i told the wife)
i'm wanting to build a six wheeler slot car (1/32 or 1/24 scale). i thought about buying one of the attex looking toys off e-bay and modifying it to work. anyone have one and know the dimensions of it? your help is greatly appreciated

I think both Jeff and Don have one. They should be able to measure them for you.

The smaller Attex toy made by Tootsie toy sits right next to me on my computer desk. The dimensions of it are 3" long and just over 1 1/2" wide. There are lots of other 6x6 toys that Don has, so if the Tootsie Toy Attex won't work, I'm sure there are plenty of other options for you out there.
