so i was in cdn tire the other day and saw that lucas oil stabalizer was on sale.figured i would give it a try.damn stuff is really thick but put it in anyway.started my engine up and was horrified by the sound coming from my engine.i assume it was the lifters bangin away for the 20 seconds it lasted.noise went away after that.let truck warm up a little and all was good.early the next morning i started engine and once again things were really noisy for a few seconds.let engine run till normal temp then dumped that **** out.how can people sell this crap?i cant beleive i actually tried it.live and learn i guess.just wanted to warn others thinking about using it.read up on it at bobistheoilguy and found it was like sae 80 oil with lots of detergent in it.
