  • JasonK got a car i've been wanting since a pup.

I drove last night 100 miles each way to buy a car i've wanted for a long time. I got a 77 olds cutlass supreme. I know they're not everyone's favorite or nothing but i had the same car when i was 16. Me & my wife now rode it around when life seemed a lot easier. I'm 40 now. My son that's 22 was concieved in the back seat of a 77 olds or maybe the front??? Anyway it's been a while since i had 1 & they were alway 1 of my favorites. I now have a 93 40th aniversery corvette, 81 Z28, 77 moza spyder W/factory V-8. Winter approaching i now will be tripping over all this iron. I just wanted to share..

They were one of the better cars at the time, I know a few people that had them. Enjoy it. Does your have the "optional" rear bumper

Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level, then beat you to death with stupidity!

Yes, luckily it has the rear bumper still attached. This car was a 1 owner A-title. The guy was in his early 60's & kept it in his garage. It had been sitting in there & the last inspection sticker says 1995. He said he used to start it & drive around the block every now & then. It's fairly solid as those years were prone to rust. The 77 i had 20+ yrs ago, the rear bumper fell off! I did help it out to do that when i backed up & hit a stop sign sticking out of the ground. I had the radio loud & didn't realize it was gone till the next morning on my way out to get in it. Plotthound, I too used that trick flipping over the air cleaner lid. The rochester quadrajet makes an awsome roar!!!

No, 1 kid was enough. Atleast that's what we thought when we were 17. We both still lived at home with our parents at that age so the car was our only privacy untill we got our first apartment @ age 18. I don't think i'm that flexable anymore LOL...
