WOW ....That was awsome! Makes me think that an aatv with a body built from aluminum and a slippery uhmw skid plate would probably be pretty tuff.

6061 T-6 Super high tensile aluminum is very tough stuff. Looks like he armored the bottom as well before adding the UHMW skin. Armor might have been another layer of 6061, or it might have been AR Steel plate. Either way, I agree with you, he did some damage, but it might not be as bad as you think.Originally posted by demo61x View Post
I've hit rocks hard enough to jump my 18ft jetboat about 4 ft out of the water without any more damage than a scuff mark in the UHMW. ( I've also cracked/broken almost every weld in the bottom of my boat. Some more than a few times, lol)

In the last video, that truck was winched up the whole hill. If you watch the first part of the hill climb you will see the front of the truck hang in the air for a minute. I still wouldn't have wanted to be in the truck.Comment
