hey all last night I saw a documentary on Bigfoot and since people with amphibs get out deeper in the woods than other people I was wondering if anyone has any experiences they would like to share Bigfoot or other strange things.

Funny this issue came up as I was just speaking with a friend on the topic a few days ago. I know four different people that spent alot of time in the area where Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana come together. Each are credible people, and had interesting stories to tell about seeing a Bigfoot in the wild.
I grew up in Eastern Arkansas, and while I never for sure saw a Bigfoot, did see some footprints in the White River Refuge. While I was looking at the prints in the sand, smelled an odor that reminded me of a wild hog, but even stronger, then something ran through the brush within about 20 yards from where I was. I only got a glimpse, but I saw a brownish-black animal running off in the distance. I assumed it was a black bear. I've always wondered whether it was a bear or something else. The tracks I had been looking at looked human, but were larger, probably a size 16 shoe equivalent, but you could also see where hair on the feet made an imprint as well.
It weirded me out so bad that day, that I jumped back in the jon boat and went back to camp to have a drink. From that point on, I always traveled to that area with at least one other person with me.

Many yrs ago there was a story in a "Gossip Mag" claiming that there was a Bigfoot being studied in a secret underground laboratory, under the local hospital here. A few yrs ago a local guy took a picture of a footprint, just out of town. The photo was supposedly one of the best ever taken.
Personally, I would like to believe, but the logistics of a big hairy ape surviving here in the winter are staggering. They could store food, or hibernate I guess, but there is nothing for them to eat and it's -40 deg outside. There is snow on the ground for 6 months of the yr and mud/muskeg for the rest. There is an incredible amount of activity in the bush around here at ALL times of the yr .... Hunting, fishing, forestry/logging, seismic, gas, oil, ATV trails, farmers, ranchers, jetboaters, aboriginal settlements. I would have to think that there would be more than 1 track ever discovered.
I will continue to keep my eyes open though

just think of all the cameras set up around the world to film nature shows, plus all the guys with trail cams set up everywhere.not one credible picture or video has ever been taken of the bigfoot.i watch these a-hole bigfoot hunters go out at night with all the high tech gear they can muster to find the elusive sam-sqaunch,but all they do is hear noises and get spooked.kinda like watching ghost hunters, what a joke.im like RD and would like to beleive there is such a creature.but with all the time i spent hunting in the daytime, and chasing nasty mean coon hounds at night ive never seen the bigfoot.

That show is drop dead funny. And not because its supposed to be. The comments me and my wife make about those guy's are great. I learned that "We know bigfoots are intelligent and clever." For instance they heard an owl or something and claimed bigfoot was making the owl noises and declared there must be a squatch in the woods. I mean come on this is funny funny stuff. They even said a bunch of small possiblies adds up to a most likely when describing evidence. Wowl like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

we should get our own reality show "THE HUNT FOR BIGFOOT" that way we can #1- get special riding privileges where most people can't #2- get paid for having fun #3- good way to promote our hobby. Who wouldn't want to watch a weekly show like that. What you all think any tv producers in our midst.

I worked in the gas/oil industry doing field surveys for a few years. The work we did required us to walk through some of the most remote areas in the south. To give you an idea, grab a few adjoining topo maps, line the tic marks up and tape them together, now draw a line across them in any given direction and imagine following that line unerringly start to finish. We walked across literally thousands of miles of program (contracted lines) in LA, MISS, TX, ARK, OK, and ALA,. Our entire survey crew-I was a cutter, hence the handle brushcutter- was struck by lightening outside Lucedale, Miss. I had a "pet" centipede I caught in the winding stair mountains in Ok, and fell down a 40' limestone face on limestone ridge outside Wilburton Ok, picked up sharks teeth on hwy 84, east of Grove Hill Ala, could look at a hole under a small rock and tell you what you were most likely to find under it when you flipped it over. I said all that to say this- I saw a LOT of strange things, saw the tracks of deer, bear, panther, turkey, coon, gator, turtle, spider, snake, you name it, but never -not even once- did I ever see ANYTHING that made me think: well...DANG...that might be a bigfoot track. Not once. I used to WANT to believe in it, but having performed the aforementioned "research" now I'm a solid non-believer.DESTRUCTION is just a couple of vowels down the street from DISTRACTION

Like any child of the 60s or 70s I wanted to believe in stuff like BF. As an adult most people realize that the numbers required to make a breeding population to sustain a large hominid would simply not be able to hidden. It would be well observed and documented in theses modern times. Not to mention the large amount of food sources required for such a species. Just not possible in North America.
That show finding Bigfoot I agree is one of the best comedies on TV. I'd swear if someone farted they'd claim it was a "Squatch".
Last one I saw was they were looking in RI. That is hysterical.. They might find some large hairy bipedal creatures there but they'll go by names like Vinney and Tony"Don't worry my Dad's a TV repairman, he has an excellent set of tools..I can fix It"

Sasquatch eh?...well...i cant say ive ever seen anything even remotely close.. Is it possible?.. I suppose so. Anything is possible i guess. However, the imagination is also a rather wild running thing also so i can only imagine that alot of stuff is made up on that level. Now as for aliens..Yes i believe.. 90%. and if i beleive that much in aliens, ill say its possible they put something like bigfoot here to mess with our heads. lolI have officially caught the 6-wheel-sickness!!
"If your gonna be dumb, you better be Tough!"
"I have done so much, with so little, for so long, that I'm now capable of doing practically anything with virtually nothing...."

Unfortunately I've only seen pictures of Bigfoots. There are several members on here lucky enough to have Bigfoots, and I know numerous members have seen them.
The Sasquatch is a planned Hustler Corp. 10x10 articulate vehicle, currently still in the design stage.
