Lol, I've had people argue with me to the point that I had to point out the stickers that say "Hustler" before they'd accept that it wasn't an Argo.....

when I tell people I have a triton predator they give me the goofiest look and I always have to say to them its similar to an Argo its to the point where I would rather say nothing unless they bring it up lol.

I'm a pretty big RCer and that was pretty cool! He mainly used the drive electronics from a rc tank. Pretty smart idea. But some money went into building that.

And how would somebody that has that many posts/time on their hands not know the difference between an Argo and a Max. I can't stand how everyone calls any 6 wheeler and "Argo".

It's one of those things where one brand is so well-known that it's the first thing someone that's not a 6 wheeler buff thinks of. It's kind of like "Crescent" wrenches. Crescent is a brand, but everyone one I know calls any adjustable wrench a "Crescent" wrech. Varsol, Skil saws, Chan-nel-lock pliers, and Sawzalls are some others I can think of. Just like when most non-farmers think of a tractor, they think of John Deere...

That's true, it's brand recognition. And just a side note, I always pass right by the Channel Lock factory when I get off the interstate on my way to Amphibious Drew's house. It makes me think of how I always call even non Channel Lock brands, Channel Locks.
