You have got some MAJOR cajones my friend!!! My stomach knots up just looking at those 2 pics. That reminds me of once and I repeat ONCE when I was a lot younger and too full of BUD(both weiser and weedser) I loaded up a bunch of my friends in my chevy Luv, whose aired down tires lined up perfectly on the rails, and started down the tracks toward town(about 3miles away). For some reason at the same time everybody on board had a mutual chicken-out attack. Long story short, I got turned around and headed back, and we made it off the tracks at our starting point just as a train rounded the bend about 50 yards away. Had we not turned around when we did, it wouldn't have ended well, trains usually run fast through there to make it up a long hill south of town. We later found out from another friend who hunted there and walked the tracks regularly, that the spot we did the about-face was the ONLY such area through there. I'm not telling you not to... but PLEASE BE CAREFUL, we here would sure miss you if it came to the worst!

Worst thing a person can ever feel is living over it... BTDT too many times. . . .

That's a perfectly safe place to cross... Playing chicken with the train is not good for your life expectancy. What is your life insurance rate?

And someone does not like Benjie very much... Lol

Just so y'all don't think I've totally lost my marbles, let it be known that this is a vehicle AND train bridge. It's only been in the last couple yrs that we have had another designated vehicle bridge across the river
This bridge is actually within a few miles of the END of the tracks. That ought to give some of you guys a better idea of where I live ....... The end of the railroad, lol.

you may live at the "end of the line" but im 99% sure i live at the end of the line... for all of norther america. If i wasnt soo lazy i would look at the lon and lat to be sure! be careful buddy i would be missed. Growing up in oregon we used to jump off the "high bridge" on the crooked river. It was a train tressel. The first time people have a choice... get hit by a train or jump.... after that it is easy to jump
