I got a video of a Barred owl.

I was out in my moms woods and happen to look up in a tree. I was like 30ft from a barred owl. It didnt even seem to mind me trumping through the woods. I got some video of it. Even got it spitting out a pellet, lol. I though it was cool and thought you guys would too.

Cool!!!! You don't get the chance to see a owl in the daytime very often. I usually only see owls during spring turkey season when the fly out of the tree that I am sitting under and scare the crap out of me.

Usually the turkeys scare the crap out of me when I spook them out of the trees, lol.

Last year I saw 2 in the same spot and I was lucky enough to have my youngest who was 4 then with me. I showed him the video and was telling him you dont see them very often. I cant remember how he said it but he was like "we saw 2 last year", lol. I dont think he understands.

Very nice, we don't have any of those around here.
I have a couple owl mounts. Found the birds ( one was gased, and the other hit by a truck ) and was lucky enough to get permits for them. One is a Snowy and the other is a Boreal owl.
