Congrats NCT!!!! Looking forward to seeing the new addition. Going to check out your gallery.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Thanks Lewis,he,s to cute, had the baby and the moma vetted today and everything came up roses,no issues what so ever,so he got to go for his first outdoor romp with his mom it was a site,he is a spirited little beggar and kept taking off across the paddock with his worried mother in hot pursuit LOL and the breed that he is are known for being a gaited horse which refers to a certain stride that they have that is peculiar to the breed
and to our surprise he "gaited" across that paddock at 32 hours old it was something to see. NCT

What is the little fellows name? His Mother is a great looking mare, love her coat. You will have to keep us updated as he grows.

The mother is a nine year old Rocky mountain Palomino,we have had her since new,she is a darling no vises, absolutely mild tempered nothing rattles her, the best trail horse we have ever had,if you have never rode a horse you could climb on her with five minutes instruction and ride her all day and never be in danger, the standing stud was a Rocky he had perfect conformation and fully papered, his coat is what they call a chocolate with a flaxen mane,he was chose for his linage and his temperament so the combination has every chance to produce another fine mild mannered trail horse. As far as the name we both were expecting a filly and when the unexpected pleasure of a little colt came along Carrie and I were brain blocked for a name it was awful, then came the first outing in the paddock, well this little guy went nuts he ran here and there tried bucking and rearing and was having a ball we were in stitches, meanwhile his concerned mom was in pursuit and she would get him stopped and by her side and then off he would go,she was getting quite perturbed she wanted to rest and eat at the round bail, then it came to us "Chase" thats the little guys name.LOL NCT
