Well tonight I adjusted the chains on my racer only to find out I had to reweld the exhaust. Got that done, and the. Put the new seat back in so I could take it for a quick test drive. A couple of donuts later and I was back at the garage replacing the left rear wheel hub assembly. It snapped right off. She loves to throw wheels. Hopefully the rest stay on over the weekend. I just have to load everything up after work and I will be off to ash tomarrow afternoon. I hope to see a few of you out there for a fun afternoon and evening ride.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Being an welder by tried, please be carfull welding on you exhaust system especially if it is still on the motor. A weld bee bee can travel a long ways inside of an exhaust tube, and do a ton of damage to an valve or an piston. Even welding with the exhaust off can leave carbon and loose wires and spatter on the inside that can get pulled in to the motor. please take the time to clean the inside of the tube and while you are at it take a die grinder and clean the weld penetration and smooth out the exhaust flow. Just some advice from an old welder that has built a lot of headers for a lot of different machines.

I'm all packed and loaded and am going to head out early afternoon. Ashtabula County was under a flash flood warning as of an hour ago, but I think that's been cancelled. It looks like lots of water out on the trails and the bowl on the track probably has some good-sized trout. There's a chance of thunderstorms each day, so it might be an interesting event....
Safe travels...sigpic

I just got my jlo 400 put back together and it sounds much better but I lost the electric starts. The bolts were all striped out and I didn't have time to weld them in and retap I will do that later. But if every thing goes well I will be there Saturday

Well it's a long story but my new racer is no where near ready. Looks like I will just be a race spectator and trail ride this time. Hopefully I will have the racer ready for the fall. I won't be up until probably Friday."Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

Well I'm not going to make it this year but I need some help. If anyone from Southeast Pa., middle N.J., or Delaware is going up I could use a ride for a rear cargo rack I'm getting from Jeff Swift. Ideal pickup would be in Montgomery County, but anyone within 100 miles would give me a better trip than driving to Buffalo. I'll pay you some for the trouble of saving me the sky-high freight charges. Thanks

Hello folks:
I was once again walking around taking pictures of all you fine folks. I have posted the pictures on the Pine Lake Raceway and Trails Facebook page. Due to the awesomeness of Facebook (choke-cough-gasp), there are doubles and some never made it. The ones that did are poor quality and of course, watermarked.
However, for you fine folks, I have for you a place to download the entire album as a zip file or just the photos that you want, RAW from the camera and unedited. The entire album is about 7GB.
