haha....welcome to my life! The dual carb units designed for the older JLO style jugs are a bit different than the Cuyuna units. Don't despair. There's always a demand for them one place or another.... Who knows? Try to fit the setup on your new jugs when they arrive; maybe you have the right stuff!sigpic

Consider them sold and thanks for the heads up.....clearing the inbox out now. I can ship them to you or I can get them to Amphibious Drew and he can give them to you if you'd like. Thanks.
Mike, I'm not sure what size they are but the guy I bought them from was running them and them set up on a Cuyuna 440."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

Building a Racer update
I got the frame all fixed up today, not more rusted out sections. I also put a reinforcement plate under the tensioner brackets so they won't bend anymore. Tomorrow I plan to clean it real good and paint it. I can't sandblast it but I don't think that is going to matter much since it won't see bad weather mud just a race track. Next it will be time to clean up and bead blast the tub of parts I have for it."Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

Got the frame all painted tonight. I know that one section looks rough in the picture but it isn't nearly as bad as it looks. Started glass beading (hate). Got a clutch on the way and having some bead lock rings made. More to come!Attached Files"Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

Got the two halves apart today. After getting some of the grime off the bottom half I got a good look at the damage around where the bearing flanges bolt to the frame. The plastic is extremely thin there. It looks like that is the way it was from the factory. I have going to try to build it up from the outside. The front had a huge hole in it but most of the plastic was still there so I pieced it back together. I got a new plastic stapler the other day so I am going to try it out on the hole tomorrow. I would like to put a shock absorbing seat bracket in. Does anyone know where I can buy one for a decent price?"Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

You can make the spring seats fairly easily using coil/over shock from a motorcycle or ATV. I've found them pretty cheap on ebay.Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

Use a shop towel wrapped in plastic food wrap to back up the opening. The goo will not affect it.
If you can,do this also. Make this
Into this first.
Then use thin goo with glass cloth.
Soak some of these in thin goo for 24 hr's and they bend real easy (and stay bent, but take a week to harden) or just "glue" em down without soaking and glass over them

I used my new plastic stapler to repair the hole in the front of the lower tub. It worked really well. I am very happy with it. I also started to repair one of the cracks around the bottom at the rear."Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

Not much to report today. I fixed a crack behind the dash and another by a head light housing. That will pretty much fix all of the cracks accept for one more by the bearing housing on the right rear."Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."
