6x6 Racing Results 2014

6x6 racing was back in Ashtabula, Ohio at Pine Lake Raceway for the 45th anniversary of America's Oldest ATV race. This thread will contain all of the race results, pictures, videos, etc. The races this year were held on Sunday, June 22. I'll try to update this first post with the videos and pictures that everyone posts so we don't have to sort through so many pages.
A huge thank you as always to Bud Fischer of Fischer Cycles for keeping this event going for us.

Jason Dusel 1st 2 stroke stock, 2nd in free-for-all. Payton Dusel 2nd in the PEEWEE. Aiden Dusel 3rd in PEEWEE. Doug Dusel 1st in CARTWHEELS during practice Sunday. Video to follow.

We'll it was a long haul for us. Fourteen hours to be exact. But well worth it. It was really nice to put some faces with the names finally. We made some new friends and seen a lot of cool machines and modifications. What a great community helping each other out. The trails were good and muddy too. Special thanks to buggy man for introducing us to everyone. It was fun riding with that lil blue powerhouse too.

Thanks for taking all the time to grab all these shots Marty. More fantastic photos as usual. I do see 864 photos. I think it might be cut off at the Over-50 race, as there are no photos of the Free-For-All. There might be one other race squeezed in there, but the class-list is escaping me.

I just got mostly unpacked. Great weekend. I had a DNF in 2-stroke stock and the free for all. Just stupid little things. The colt was running pretty well on the track actually.

Thanks to The Fisher's and to ALL who make this Traditional event possible, it was a beautiful weekend and had a great time.

2 stroke stock was a bast!!! i got just a little too excited and forgot to buckle my brain bucket (what brain) lol i had to pull over as it
was not safe duh!!! by the time i buckled the helmat and back in the race 1/2 the field passed me by. cought and passed quite a few
and passed them but not sure where i finished.

Placed first in open class....it was quite a battle

nice to see a new generation of 6x6 racers out there this year. great job pee-wee's (was one once myself)
Remember keep those sticks held forward. when you wanna go!!!

Kudos to Matt O for making attex bottoms availble.. Thank You!!

Thanks to Bud and the Fischer crew for letting us have the place for the weekend once again. Great pictures, Marty. Little G: You put up with all our crap this weekend and didn't even yell much. I hope your week improves! Personal thank you to Jimmy Gerber for lending me the parts to get the McKay back on the track and everybody that helped me put the thing back together. I still say it's too far advanced.

I'm sore and bruised and too old for all this crap, but wouldn't miss it for anything. What a great weekend! It's too far in between the times we get together. Let's add a couple other racing events through the year.

I heard Dad (Jeff Laughlin) maybe did 3rd in over 50? I was heading to staging then. He DNF free for all. I'm pretty sure I wasn't last in 2 stroke mod or Free for all... at least no DNF this year. I decided not to run 2 stroke stock w/ the liquid cooled after I signed up for it. It was fun seeing everyone again and the super stuck slightly after curfew trail ride was a blast. Maybe we'll try to be even earlier next year get Dad working on the Springer repairs now!

I had a great time again this year I thank Bud and the crew for all there hard work. As some of you know I bought racerones racer. This was my first time racing. I placed second in 4 stroke. I give a big thanks to Brian for building such a great machine. Can't wait to race again. See you all in the fall
