Really great racing ! It's kind of amazing to see how competitive it is getting now that we are racing more often, I wonder what it will be like a year from now. And thank you David we wouldn't be doing this without you!
All I have to say about the Streak is WOW ! The springer guys are going to have their hands full trying to get around Matt.

Wow, what a great time... I just rolled in after driving a couple hours last night after the adrenaline was doing its job after the two stroke mod race. This track was quite a bit different than Pine Lake, but it was an absolute blast with a lot of very tight turns and some nice jumps. What was a lot like Pine Lake was how tight everybody is going into the first wide turn that transitions into a hairpin. Plenty of straightaway to get up to speed transitioning into a six wheel lockup into a RH hairpin.

The back/knees/arms/legs/soul are a bit bruised but I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks to everybody that keeps turning out and to G for being our liason to the track owners and promoters. Several track staff, the track owner and spectators approached us to say how great our group was and that the 6x6 racing was really a highlight of the day.

First time under the lights! I'll get in-car video posted soon..

Thanks everyone for the help on my first solo racing trip (luckily had a few additional friends/family show up too). My back was sore before Saturday... now I'm barely moving and still have to clean up/unload. Even though the facility (and track) was a bit rough for it's first ever TT race, It was a total blast. By the main races the track did seem to improve a bit, though. The streak is a monster. I hope there's some good footage out there.

That was a great way to spend the weekend! I can't believe we were the first ones there and the last to leave. Racing under the lights was a really neat experience, I had just as much fun recording as driving. A special thanks to everyone who works behind the scenes organizing the event, and the owner of the track who was very enthusiastic about our attendance. A new track was fun.

A few of us walked around and took quite a bit of pictures of everyone's machines and some racing shots. I should have the video uploaded and pictures in a zip file for everyone to download by tomorrow. Here's a preview:

24hrs later... i'm thinking an A stock springer maybe just the ticket.
those little jumps were fun, but when you land them you just knew they
were gonna hurt later. i think i'm an !/8 to a 1/4 inch shorter.

What a great weekend!!! Thank You David and to everyone who made this all possible. I'm with Jim on the A stock springer idea. In the 2 stroke mod class I knew Don was on my tail and I hit the tabletop jump a little too hard with the Starcraft and all I can say is ouch!

Thank you for the kind words about the Streak, we're honored to revive a true veteran.

When Matt left the starting line with the Streak and went by me, all I could think of was the starship Enterprise when it goes into warp drive!

Instead of a green light they should just say engage maximum warp

Here's in-car footage from the two-stroke modified race. It's reprocessing to get it a bit less shaky, but you get what you get. I still need to make a stiffer mount for the camera.

                        Enjoy!

Still young enough to make me look silly in the Two Stroke Stock race...

I had DNF's in each heat due to a chain idler that kept walking off a bearing, throwing my chain. Thanks a ton to Little G for coming up with a spare for me in time to run the main events....
