Hey, that was a blast, let's just leave it at that. I don't think anybody is so serious about this event that they worry about a few seconds' time it takes if the sweepers can't get off the track immediately. It's all for fun (and it is!).

Whoever the young lady was that put me in the weeds at the beginning of the hare scramble should really consider entering the NEEDT events. She has the skills and the attitude. Good racing!

Thank you Tom I appreciate that and in lite of new information I have been receiving I think I will have to look at who I have out there doing this job a little better I consider everyone on here a friend and fellow rider I just want to see all the negativity about a fun event stop sorry any inconvenience I caused any racers having inexperienced sweepers out there it won't happen again.

Im sure the drivers that competed could of cared less if there was a non competitive vehicle on the course. The Hare Scramble in its this weekend should not be compared with past events. Face it this was a small crowd of enthusiasts that came out to support and hang with like minded folks. We were not happy that the track was not ready but we came anyway. As far as supporting and giving credibility to racing it will happen at the NEEDT level.
    Gees, Jersey, you forgot me.

Ok I just want to clear up something I had four sweepers out on the track at different places at different times mudd ox Matt mudd ox nick Mike and Bill Gerber an Brad Smith and they where all sweeping for me if someone got hurt or broke on the trail and needed help getting out of the way that's what there for 2 years ago I had asked Tom and Athena to do the same thing for me last fall I had asked the Gerbers to do it and myself the all know to stay out of the racers way. I didn't have one racer come out and tell me they lost because a sweeper was in the way. That picture of Dave passing matt,Matt wasn't moving he let the racer go around him.

I couldn't agree more. I've run the hare scrambles and it's hard enough. Spectators should NEVER be on any track when the race is going on. That is total disrespect for everyone!

Ya nice video. We can't believe what we just saw. There's everyone wearing their helmets racing & 2 "spectator" guys with NO helmets racing around the track in a machine. Was this ok'd at the driver's meeting? Did you all know? You guys were ok with letting a spectator on the track during a race with a machine? That was NONSENSE. SPECTATORS with machines should NOT have any business on the track, whatsoever. Kinda disappointed that a lot of people are so concerned about fun that no one seems to care about the legitimacy of the race. If you think spectator's should race on the track then have a Spectator's Class Race. Don't allow them on the track with legitimate racers. We were truly hoping that you guys could keep the dream alive to get some respect for 6 wheelers again. It's not going to happen this way.
