Bud, on the other hand is still POed. If I hadn't hit him with "Klaatu: Barada, Nikto" early yesterday morning, the earth may not have been the same today. He doesn't race in the heats nearly as hard as he'd race a feature. Neither do I and it's most likely the same with all of us. What the Paradise Speedway did to us is unacceptable.

Thanks for checking on it for us, Dave. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

P.S. There is a Yelp site for Paradise Speedway where you can rate the track.
    I posted my review!

All the tracks we race at have a curfew of some sort.

Especially when you add the drive home.

The curfew wouldn't have been a problem if they'd been half organized during the race day. We'd have had time for a dozen feature races if they had only put forth a little effort. My suspicion is that the management knew they were going to run out of time and moved ALL the 6 wheel races to the end of the night so they wouldn't inconvenience the quads or trikes. Had we known what was going to happen, we could have left for home in the early evening and not wasted the whole day waiting, only to be turned away at the last minute.
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

            (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

I totally agree. Why else would they move us to the end. What also irks me is that they let you sit up there in the staging area forever just to tell you to go home. They knew what they were doing.

Like Don, said, if they had just been honest with us, we could have been POed much earlier and at least left at a decent hour. JBF and I only got back to camp at 5:30 in the morning.

I just opened a Yelp account to leave a review.

I agree with Don we should not let paradise speedway's poor performance get in the way of twisted mx, Hamlin or pine lake they all do a great job!!
in fact Devlin and Latrobe did just fine also. still on the fence about Michigan but more than likely going as long as nothing comes up.

Still waiting to hear NEEDT's explanation on what happened. I would just like to know whose bright idea it was to single out and sacrifice the 6 wheeler classes instead of taking other measures to speed up or shorten the remaining races.

It was great to see familiar faces again. We're glad the weather held out as it rained both on the way and our return trip. Now it's the countdown until Milan, and we hope to see the group there as well!

Congratulations to jerseybigfoot for the hole shot award in 4-stroke!
