My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Just got home and unloaded. I had lots of problems and bent a crank but many friends and many hours later I got to start and finish the D stock race. What a blast! The back feels great so it looks like I am back and I can't wait for next season. Congratulations to Jim Gerber for the Trifecta! Also, finally the A's are starting to creep up on those 4-strokes! Looking forward to seeing everyone again next month!"Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

Great weekend and weather, i was not expecting the stars to all line up but they sure did!!!
I have to thank all the Fishers and crew, they are the hands down are the best out there. They know how to put on a great event.
The track was the best in the circuit, even the staging and track maintenance was streamline. Also a special
with Dave (G) coming back to let us all know when we were up, pulling us off the track and back to
camp and working between the fisher crew,NEEDT and drivers. Thanks to Brad and Dave Smith for welding my seat up and Scott
for the throttle lever. Derik, i hope your ok, you gave me and the rest of us a run for my money this year,
don't let up, you are on your way to the top.
Thanks to all you racers staying with it, we need to find a way to get more involved.
Ps. We all missed you George!! (Mark if you see this please relay the message)
lol amen!!!
Can't weight to see everyone in October

Some great racing last weekend! Congratulations to all the winners, especially Jim G. for his 3 (THREE) firsts. Pine Lake puts on the most organized events by far: the very best. Thanks to Bud and his crew- they work their tails off all weekend, along with our guide, town crier and tow truck; Dave G. It's not the same when he's not there. Derek deserves "most dedicated racer" for rushing back from Urgent care, icing and taping up a wounded leg, and getting in his machine to start 2 stroke stock class. We all hope the leg and machine are well soon, Derek! Missed you, George.Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

It gives great pleasure to work with such a great group of racers and friends even though I am hopefully only temperarly out of the game I am still around and out because of all the wonderful people that I get to work with at these events I am already pumped up and getting ready for next year the D stock should be in the garage soon getting ready for next season don't know if i will drive it or if i will get someone else to do it but hopefully i can at least drive the springer one more time in the big fifty race.If not Don or Jimmy G your on deck to run it. Thank you all for the wonderful memories every year will see you all in a few weeks at the fall event can't wait. Until then stay safe.

Another great show put on by the Fischer's and a special thanks to Dave for all his work, hospitality and coping with frustration. The Needt show ran pretty smooth thanks to Bud and Dave and all the scorers.
Saturday night was entertaining to say the least, congratulations to all the racers and all the winners, great to be around you guys.
Thanks to Marc for putting us up, or putting up with us. Hope Derek rebounds quick.
See you all in a couple weeks.sigpic

Made it home today with many great memories. Thanks to Dave an Bud and the Fisher and NEEDT crews. I had wonderful chats with Mr Gerber about the old days an technical things. What a great family. The racing was excellent and congratulations to Jimmy for his A class win. I thing it’s time to call A by its correct name A Mod.
I would like to propose an another class based on a budget build. I really think the sport can use it as the racer numbers are dwindling.
Maybe a spec A stock class. Based on the 460 clone engines from Vegas Carts or similar. Maybe even have sealed engines. I’m thinking of an ATTEX platform with some gearing and clutch changes and a wider stance. It would be reasonably fast and can also run 4 stroke and A modified I’m willing to drop the shifter mod and build an A Spec if there others willing to build them also. It would be a good jr platformLast edited by jerseybigfoot; 09-17-2018, 09:35 PM.Acta non verba
