  • History Of The Gerber?

I managed to pry this beauty out of Don's hands and trying to find any information I can about its history.

I'd like to restore it as close to original as possible. I understand it used to be raced under the name "Bad A**".

I'd like a side photo so I can reproduce the "Bad A**" logo. Its kinda visible here:

    Another:

If you have any info/photos I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    tom

Here's the best photo I have

I think the there's also some mention of the set up in the article.

I would be amazing to see this in the same condition that It was in 20 years ago.

I'll look around for more images.

      Thanks Techfx!

I got the chassis without a motor and currently stripping it down to the frame
      to sandblast.

Just sitting in this thing with wheels surrounding you gets the adrenaline going.

Can't wait to get her together.

Actually, the Gerber uses a T20.
(though I wish I could get my hands on a BH 6000)

Hmmm, I thought the BH was the preferred racer tranny, but I was actually referring to Amphiman1's Bumpkin, from what I read he uses any tranny, as long as it's not a T-20 .

If your still looking for pictures, i think we have a bunch of them around from when it was first built. Ill see if i can find them and scan them in for you if your interested! If you have any questions about it just let me know, my dad built it from the ground up, so i could relay questions to him! Good luck man!
