O.K. Steve, where is the motor? I give up. I hope you get her done for Ashtabula, keep those wrenches turning. I want to see what she will do. Haven't ever seen one of those machines before.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Note, It says *pre* restoration. I bet there will be something up Amphiman's sleeve as far a power plant and the amount of work done at this point - At least we can hope so.
Keep working Steve and we will see you there. Nothing wrong with old motors. Still going to make Busco?

6. hydromike (and my mechanic (Dad), and Alyssa (and HER racer!)
So glad to see that you fixed up a racer for Alyssa! We'll need more for a Powder Puff class. Stalkerette - you in? Racerone3sgirl, Beth - you in? Can we get Jennifer in on this? How about Mrs. Liflod? We just can't let the guys have ALL the fun!
I've ridden back there and they aren't mandatory, but I highly recommend AT LEAST the seat belts. There is a series of hills set up like a washerboard that is a RIOT!!!!!!!! You would probably have to talk to Bud about that though.
Does the Roll bar and seat belt safety rule apply on the trail ride too or is that just for the racing events?
The roll bar, seat belt & helmet safety rule would apply to any kind of racing event on land. We really don't think it will be "required" to trail ride, but everyone should know their limits, too, if you don't have that set-up. I'll try to remember to ask Bud the next time I talk to him.

Spoke with Bud today & to answer Larry W's question & for anyone else that might be wondering, there's no special requirements for trail riding. I didn't remember anyone going trail riding back in the 70's at Pine Lake. Bud said that that was because there were no trails back then. Duh!
Right now the Fischer Cycle website is down. Apparently the Power Co. in his area is working on the power grids. So things are kind of messed up for a few more days. Hopefully, it will be back up & working next week.
