    I just got back from Ashtabula and it was a great time! A huge thank you to everyone there for all the food, tech support, and great stories and BS sessions. I couldn't ever imagine a more tight knit group of folks. I've got lots to talk about but I'm exhausted and need to get to sleep so I'm keeping it short for now. I only rolled my machine once during the practice laps and there wasn't damage so I was able to race without an issue. Other than that it performed extremely well and I was very pleased with what it did.

    Hydromike managed to roll his ST/503R in the same spot that I rolled my other racer last year. He was absolutely flying, and only half of his wheels were actually driving due to a chain malfunction (which made him go into the side of the Argo racer and roll). There weren't too many rollovers this year, but there were a lot of very close calls. There were a lot of cool new racers that were there this year too. I uploaded a few pictures and a video so far. The guys running the springers and supermods were rocketships on the track! I can't even begin to describe how incredible it was to see these machines flying around. Never in my life have I seen anything go like they did on a track like that. I'm sure there will be lots of videos of them from other 6x6World members soon. I was in absolute awe after witnessing it.

    I look forward to seeing all of the other pics and videos of the event. Glad to see everyone.....hope you all have a safe trip back home.

        GeoJem and I made it home safely last night with some great memories. It's just great to see everyone again. What an amazing weekend on the track, and on the trails. The only regret I have, is that it's likely a full year away before we can hit the track again. We broke lots of stuff at least once, and were able to fix most everything at least once. I was very impressed with how well everybody was running this year. Far less problems, it seemed. A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped me get back out on the track in no time at all when a couple racers were down, and I was gimped up. Couldn't have done it without you. I'll try to get my pics and video up as soon as possible...
        ::edit::

        In the meantime, I give you..... The Turbulator....

        Thanks again everyone,
        ~m

                  Holy Cow! Was that a great weekend, or what!?

                  The boys and I got home about 2 am; tired, dirty, in need of showers, and very glad we went. Thanks to 6x6world, Apache Gear, and Fischer Cycle for putting the event on. It was so good to see old friends again and make some new ones. We all hope the trend continues and this becomes an annual event (at least).

                  I posted some pics in the ATV racing section.
                  Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

                  (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

                      Home at last!!!!!!! Got in around 1:PM. Guys it was another year of great people, great fun and great excitement. This was a great time to revisit with familiar friends and to make new ones. It was great to put a face with a name from the site. Best group of people i have known in a long time. Thanks all for a great weekend. There are still a few members out there on the road, so drive safely!!!!
                      Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

                            Even though i finished the last half of the weekend with 5 tires lol.... I had a blast this weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped me out or let me borrow tools. I met alot of great people and saw some sweet rides. Big thanks to Bud for letting us ride the trails. I have never seen such character in land with so many different things on one property. Hope we can all meet again.

                              Man that looked fun, I hate I couldn't go. I can't get over the number of springers. How was the turnout overall compared to last year? Also, what classes were held? The videos are great.
