  • Anyone in the Aurora Colorado area?

I would love to go for a trip if there is anyone in the State of Colorado that has a 6x6 and would like to ride.

It would be fun to do a ride or something some time. If there was a link on the post i missed it, but it would defiantly be interested in riding sometime.

There's a couple of guys in Colo on the route6x6 site, might be able to dig up that thread. One in southern Wyoming.

What about you? You aren't to far from Colorado.

I'd love to ride with you guys. Used to visit the high country every Sept. Would like to do an overnight summer trip up high like Holy Cross ghost town. I have tracks that never get used, they need exercise. Don't know when any of that will happen, so don't wait on me.

Can you guys find out anything about me bringing an aatv in from out of state. I've heard they have a temp permit for out of state. Don't know what they need from me. It's never been registered in any way, Oklahoma doesn't require anything, unless you tag it as a boat.

I have been wondering what the requirements are for 6x6s to make them legal to ride off road. I think it would be registered as a ATV, but i am not sure.

I assume atv tags. I know the jeep type guys who build stuff they can't street tag can get some kind of off highway use tag. Ay least in certain areas of Colo, they enforce pretty hard. A friend visited and the fine was $75.

                  I prefer to ride legally.

I will take a look at Route 6x6 as well.

The tags are a requirement. Here is the link. It also has the information for out of state atvs.

I have mine from last year for my 8x8. Everyone must renew each March.

Sounds like a plan. I will get mine tagged in the next few months.

I'm game for a ride in Colorado. I actually posted a message earlier this month trying to organize a winter ride in Colorado or Wyoming.
I was just north of Walden last weekend and had the Mudd-Ox on a 40 mile ride. Had to float a couple motorcycles across 2 different beaver ponds and pull a stuck RZR out.
