We got home about 9:30 this evening. Had a good Sunday ride before leaving. I did manage to get about 2 hours of film on my GoPro before it started acting up. Started going through it a bit ago. Hope to get some edited up soon and posted. Most of it is very blurry as the camera was covered in mud and did not realize it was still filming.

Traveling the 14 hours back home last night to Michigan, Mike (Toys4Me), Sonny (NotFast) and I had a LOT of time to talk about the ride.
      .
After considerable thought, going thru mounds of paper work of AAA requests for towing, boxes of 911 call tapes, GIGS of video and my poor memory.
      .
We have a compiled a list of the members at Busco who didn't have to get towed, pushed or rocked out of something this weekend .........

      NO ONE!

Except for those people on those other off road vehicles. What do they call them? FOUR WHEELERS.

We got home monday about 7:30 after having another great time with the attending members, sorry me missed a bunch bet met some new ones.
The riding was great with the water that come down on those there thursday and slowly dissipated through out the rising temperatures daily, by sunday night the mud turned to the consistency of near axle grease and sucked you right in.

For this ride we revived the 94 Conquest after setting about 10 years, after changing most all bearings and seals ( due to time) I tore into the noisy trans and put near everything new in it, put on a new exhaust heat shield and some gas just removed from a customers machine, changed the oil and filters and off we went with the V2 tires on it. It did very well until saturday afternoon when the smoke and noise show started, sunday morn. found that to be caused by the partially siezed driven clutch, also found that darn valve stuck from sitting overnight ( bad gas). All in all did darn well.
Lindsay drove the V2 capably for most of the rides only stuck 2-3 times even with the 25's on backwards , which was a lot less than dad was.

Thanks to all who attended and see you next time.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
                  Joe Camel never does that.

Great teaser Dan! I loved the video. Looks like Cory and I missed some good riding.

Yup took the Hustler down and rode it the first day. Still need to do more fine tuning to the clutches and throttle. I'm only getting 2/3 of the belt travel in the clutches and throttle seems to bog. Don't feel like I have the power to clean out the tires.. Need some help tuning it in. May need to replace the engine clutch. I do want to eventually get some spline axles and lower the gearing on the sprockets that are made by Whipper. I've still got about 5 hours of film to go through and edit. I have looked at it and most of the 5 hours the camera lens is covered in mud and very cloudy.

Can't unmud it now Dan might as well post it. Lindsay shot a little with a handheld camera with small memory, it's shakey, blurry and spotty but it's on youtube under bucsco beach ride 2013, Id put it up but haven't figured out how. It does show Kieth snapping the right side, sorry Kieth.

Lindsay captured some nice footage. Video/photos just don't do justice to the ditch that Keith was climbing out of in the last video.

I agree Mike, unless you were in the ditch shooting horizontally you can pick up the near vertical of that.
Hope the desert crew is having a good time.
