I went there 7 years in a row,and really didnt see everything. It is (was) a really good place to ride with miles of main trails and numerous secondary trails. That being said they have closed and filled the gator pit, disallowed riding in the lake, graveled and riprapped all the water crossings(at least on the main trails). and closed some areas all together.I havent been for probably 4 years but all this is coming from people that have.It would still be a place I would visit even though they are getting the environmental impact attitude.A group of Jeepers I know got caught in a closed area( they said it wasnt marked well or roped off) and were kicked out of the park for the weekend.

last time i was there, was in1979 after the wife and I got married ,was with our jeep club , was strick back then a member got in alot of trouble riding in the fringe of the lake, he got stuck and we were trying to pull him out when the water patrol pulled up and read us the riot act, thought we all was going to get locked up, they even came to our campsite later and and talked to us again, said if they caught us doing anything else wrong we would be evicted from the park

I have been there a few times but that has been several years ago. It's a nice park but not much mud for our 6x6s. Mostly trails for quads and SxS's.
