    Carolina Adventure World - April 19-20

    Now that we have everything planned I'm starting a new thread for discussion about who is going. Post up if you plan to attend and where you plan to stay (camp or hotel)

    Here's the info:

    When:
    April 19th - 20th, 2008

    Where:
    Carolina Adventure World in Winnsboro, SC (between Rock Hill and Columbia)

    They do have bathhouses now open for all campers. They allow RV's but don't have the hookups available yet.

    Cost:

    2 day adult pass - $35
    1 day adult pass - $25
    1 day child pass (17 and under) - $15

    Tent camping and RV camping - $25 a night

    What you need to have:

    -Take and wear a helmet

    Finally, in the other thread several people questioned the "no aggressive tire rule" that is listed on their website. McCoy called them and spoke with Joe Phelps. He said that on our machines, aggressive tires are not a problem.

    In order to get camping spots next to each other please post if you are going to camp so that I can get us some spots reserved.

      we will be there looks like a hotel for us . might be bringing some of them land locked 4 wheelers with us robbie & allison rogers

        Gotta have brain bucketz for the non roll cage vehicles right?

        I'm gonna work on getting there, but it's the weekend of the Wifes Birthday. I'm thinking she's got other plans, not to mention I just spent a load of cash on repairs for my Jeep.

                      Count me in i'll be there. This sound like fun. I will make the Saturday run. Have a comitment for Sunday. Look forward to meeting you guys and do some riding. By the way Mike love your videos, they are cool. Do you have a time that you plan to be there? This is a pretty big area to find each other.

                          Lewis, we haven't thought that far ahead I'm sure that we are going to try to get down there as early as possible. Probably 8 or 9am? When it gets closer we will PM everybody that's going some phone numbers. That way if any of us are late or get lost we can call each other and meet up. Plus those of you (like rdr) that are further away may not be able to make it there that early. I'll have my phone on me all day long.

                          I'm glad that you are going to make it. I look forward to riding with you and seeing that 8x8 in action. Plus you have some experience at CAW so you know the good spots to ride.

                              8x8 avenger

                              Robbie i will havee my 2007 Avenger. Mike was only there once and from what i see on the web site they have a lot more open.

                              Robbie what do you ride?

                              All these other vehicles are new to me. They look cool. The first argo style vehicle i saw was the banana split vehicle. I'm showing my age. They even had a show with it in it.
