I had a wonderful time as always. Great to talk to everyone who made it.
Managed to lose my engine cover on the way home
Drove back to find it intact on the side of the interstate
    Haspin terrain is never disappointing!

Mike and I made it home safe and sound and really had a great time. It was great to get to meet all the new friends and put faces to so many names we are all so familiar with. Thank you all so much for letting us come ride with your group we really enjoyed it!

As for Haspen Acres...its great and it really does draw a fun lovin' crowd of dirtbikes, 4 wheelers's, side by sides, and jeeps. And boy are they friendly...we were just the second truck and trailer to pull into the top parking lot on Friday, and before we knew it all of our new buddies arrived and pulled in so close to snuggle with us that we couldn't even get our doors open...you could just feel the love :-) ...heck we were all so excited that many of them kept their hot rod engines warmed up all night and we even celebrated about 2 in the morning with a couple of fireworks that would do most cities proud! It was great...lol

In all seriousness... It really was super fun and worth the trip...everyone should try to make it to the next get together there. That park is so diverse that it offers the perfect terrain for everyone. It has some of the knarliest trails up rocky waterfalls and overgrown woods that I have ever seen...some of the trails were actually deep washouts through bolder strewn valleys that if you didn't see the 6x6 in front of you go into it you wouldn't believe that it was a trail! As for ruts and bottomless mud there's plenty of that there to bury anything in. The park is excellent and gives every machine from the smallest 6x6 to the largest 8x8 time to really shine and everyone gets their 5 minutes of fame. Super great group of guys to spend the weekend with and to learn what these machines are capable of. If you can't have fun at Haspen Acres with this buch of guys, you just ain't trying.

They say that they actually get together and ride there when there's snow on the ground...I'm already I little scared but looking forward to one of those rides! Thanks again to everyone and especially Matt for letting us use his camping heaters to keep our redneck motel room warm Saturday night :-)

Haspen is an awesome park and I look forward to going back. The terrain took a toll on my max II but it was worth every minute and dollar.

We definitely need to get a race going at Haspin. With my 4-stroke I got a lap of around 3:40. I could have gone for lap 2 even faster, but my rear axle said no

looks like a great time to be had by all. Hopefully I'll make it next year. Would have this year but the torsion axels were failing on my trailer/ fish house. At least they said they'd have it fixed by the the time we get ice.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

I liked the side mount for the video camera on your Max II. I'm surprised at how stable it was. Looks like a fun place to ride.

Great video! I can't believe I missed Mike tip the Max sideways, and nearly back flip. Was that fire coming out of the exhaust?

Better check the oil on that machine Nick. It may have pushed some past the rings when it was on its side.

Those were a few of the funnier moments that your bound to have on a big group ride...(not sure the camera man was really giving him good advise...lol)...it was fun watching as he was just getting a feel for the limitations of his machine but you do really have to give him credit for his very first time ever driving one he picked it up really quickly and did super great job driving for most of the weekend! All part of the entertainment value of a big group ride :-)

Here is a video of one of the steepest, roughest, and rockiest hill climbs at the park. Only a small part of the park was rocky and the Devil's Backbone is the main attraction for climbers with balls of steel. Keith was attempting to climb the hill in his Max IV but had trouble at first. I then started camcording a Jeep going up then all of a sudden out of no where Keith appears at the top of the hill and makes the climb.

Are you calling Mike " a little old lady"?

Great video Brandon......not so sure about the advise though. I'm sorry I missed that one in person, must have happened on Friday?

Yes I think it was early on Friday. We got separated from the group so there were only a few of us there. I gave him good advise at first to go up a bit farther but when Mike just dropped it strait in, I resorted to classic redneck 'good advise'. That includes phrases like "keep going, you got it" and "hold my beer and watch this!"

Jim here is a video of you blasting through a mud hole on Saturday evening.
