  • AATV in NH

Planning on doing some rides in New Hampshire in late Spring. What is the ruling on AATV's on the ATV trails. Are there some good scenic trails we can use around the Mount Washington area?

Unfortunitly I just spoke to the NH trail bureau and there are restrictions.

50" wide 1000lbs and 10psi or less tire pressure. The width is the killer.

I ride mine around in the Winter and have had no issues with officers. Technically they are not ATVs, but I'd be surprised if they questioned it.

        how about maine?

i am from massachusetts and have a camp in moosehead lake region maine, i recently got a set of rules and they allow atvs up to 60" wide. there are litterally 100's of miles of trails that i ride my snowmobile on in the winter. not all but most are also dedicated to atvs in the off season. once my new max is rebuilt thats where im headed!

Maine seems different than NH, you should have no issues in ME.

Where are you located in maine? I'm an hour and fifteen minutes east of bangor on the coast.
