All machines performed well showing the minor issues each track had, there was 12 to 15 inches of loose snow under the 1/2 inch crust and we were running the same tight trails run during no snow.
This proved to be the biggest problem with the day, tight turns mean digging in which required many K or KK turns throughout the day, the Adair's dug quick and the rubber had wheel slip ( which I bettered with air pressure), the Supertacks just did their thing.
From what I observed If the snow had been deeper JBF could have used the winter kit, Tom seemed fine, and with us having a 500lb heavier machine with about 700lbs of passengers ( just a guess) needed what we had and on these trails, I don't believe the Adairs would have worked good on the HDI (just my opinion as there was no trial) in these conditions on this trail.
Lorrie ran the HDI about half the ride and Tom let his Buddy run his machine on the way back. JBF has some video. and here are some pics I tried to take while driving.
All in all a fun day hosted by Tom and Lorrie who fed us and led us.
