The arial shot gives a good view of the trail. As you can see it was primarily muck all the way. Lots of floating. The tracks swam great and when there was something for them to grab ahold of it was kind of a bonus.

Thanks for replies guys, I can see from this video it's not quite what I visualised. I though "swamp = endless water filled ground with no dry bits" I can see from this it's in fact quite varied. The hunting I envy, over here there's no wilderness as such, every shot has to be taken with a backstop in mind.

that drone is awesome. Probably lots of fun to fly too. Did the drone drop off my tuners? I was trying to figure out how they showed up so quickly? Thanks for sharing the vids with all of us.

Has anyone tried a non track machine? If you have another ride you may throw down a challenge to see if anyone is up to it.

The beginning is a bit of a winch fest, but we later on learn how to tame the terrain.

There is no challenge to be offered. Vehicles without tracks cannot make it more than about 30 feet into the swamp. And no one was willing to pull a machine without tracks all day.
