Well we're home about 8:30 after losing a trailer tire in Va., in the rain on 70mph strech at the base of an on ramp. Fun,Fun,Fun.
Had a great time with y'all down there, great to see everyone and meet some new ones. The riding was good and there were plenty of stucks with tons off mud if you wanted to find it, some soupy, most sticky, but all belly suckers even though holes were a ton dryer than usual.Tires were generally clogged making for some nice drifting, though not good for precision sets into a hole. Thanks to all who pulled me out and sorry to Hans for breaking just after pulling Lindsay out with a throttle cable snapped, guess the rebuild will happen now.
No charge for Friday's entertainment as it was my pleasure, we found just how deep some holes were with a lack of water and a coating of slime.
See ya next time.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Got in about 7:30 Yesterday after a Great ride, as Mike and Jim mentioned the water was a little scarce and the mud clogged the wheels but it was still a blast. Glad to see all again and hope all have a safe trip home.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Just got unloaded at home. Mark and Shawn are on there way to their respective places. A big thanks to the boys from Michigan for fixing my t-20 mounts on Saturday and Cory and Fred for helping me out Friday. What a fantastic trip. The Friday night ride was absolutely legendary. From the idiot on the quad that "showed us all how it's done"(getting stuck really fast) to Jim's battle with the impossible mud hole, to Dan67 running Adair tracks and still having to get pulled out of some of the nastiest peanut butter mud there is, and that was all in just one small section of trail. The afternoon rides through the swamp were an adventure as well. I loved seeing all my good friends one last time before winter, and I was glad I made some new friends as well. Safe travels to those that still have to travel home. We represented the hobby with class and style this weekend, and I am proud to call every one of you that came out a friend.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Had a blast on the Saturday morning run and the swamp run Saturday after noon was an absolute blast. I got a great look at the capabilities of Dan's Argo Conquest, Louie's Conquest, MaxIV Marks tracked MaxIV, Got to run with Drew, Fred, Cory and John Boy through the swamp and that was a blast.
I got to watch Drew take his MaxIV over a huge tree, he is the first person I have ever seen get a MaxIV over a big tree unassisted. It was a great show!
I really enjoyed watching the blue MaxIV with Aqua Torque Tires, I didn't get a chance to meet the owner but he, Mike and the owner of the blue Argo HD with 25 inch swimmer tires were a Blast to watch on the trails. They attacked every mud hole they could find. I watched the Blue MaxIV and the Argo HD turn sideways in a mud hole and pull up the bank when another machine got stuck in front of them. What a show, I did get some of that show on video. I wish I could have seen a little friendly competition between JP Swift, Mike and the Owner of that blue Max-wow! Also had a great time watching John Boy's half track MaxII. He really put on show with the little MaxII.
I didn't get to see a lot of the other machines on the morning ride because I was towing another machine back to camp. I did get the chance to find out what it was like to get stuck in peanut butter mud and was so grateful to see Dan with his tracked Conquest show up to rescue me. There is nothing sweeter then seeing a tracked Argo at the end of your winch when you are hopelessly stuck.
The night run Saturday night was a lot of fun and I got to see some very bad mud conditions at night. We had a lot of machines on the night run and we attacked some very bad holes.
My thanks to Louie for helping me set my tent up in the middle of the night.
I have over 20 minutes of great video up loading now. Should be another seven hours before it is finished up loading. I will post it as soon as it is ready.
Thanks to everyone for a great time I really, really enjoyed it!Last edited by mightymaxIV; 10-13-2014, 04:07 AM.

hey friends, got home sunday eve around 6 p.m. passed mark, drew and friend on 95 n. had another awesome time. the half tracks worked great but needed wider mud flaps !! was really spraying myself and the machine. got to test the swim paddles. need bigger paddles , but they sure helped in the soupy mud. buried the max sat. afternoon ride. tracked guys were off pulling others out, so jim's daughter pulled behind me and sunk. tried to walk thru and almost got her boots pulled off. so jim hooked up behind her and we finally got out. saturday nite ride was great too. lewis and dan 67 and i took deedee and wife out for a short ride later sunday morn. stayed away from mud since all the tow machines were gone. deedee did great with his argo. enjoyed the sat. afternoon ride with mike, jennifer and friends. they really go forit !! enjoyed all the frienships. can't wait till april. johnboy va.

Thanks for taking the time to video all that to share. It has to be hard to stop and take time for videoing when you're having that much fun. Wish you guys weren't so far away. Maybe some day. What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.
