In the process of fixing the tires, been watching them go flat. so far tube in one could not fix bad side wall leak, the other three just leaking around the bead. Keeping ten pounds in them until we go out again. Saving my allowance for tracks, will be saving for a long time. See you in OCT.

Be very careful with tubes. Tires can spin on the rim and rip out a valve stem. If you really must use a tube in a tire until replaced, Spread grease inside tire before tubing to allow the tube to adjust to the tire as it bends and flexes. Glue tire to rim with permatex gasket sealant. On a tire with sidewall damage, fill in cuts and slices with silicone.

Best is to slim the tire. Don't skimp go full out 32oz. per tire and mix with anti-freeze. the air it to 5 psi and drive it to get the slim moving inside the tire.

Like Jim said. It is just a little learning curve. This gang will have you moving around in the water in no time. By the way have you ever been to any of the 6x6 events or is this your first?

Just a tip, as we have seen in the past if you want to get a spot in the "F" section which is where the 6x6 members usually congregate near the shower house.... and plan on using power and water get your reservations in early. Under the old management this was no problem but the new owner require a reservation. If you plan on just primitive camping it makes no difference. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

Wheels are turning... wonder if going for the first time and bringing two 2 stroke stock machines here would be a good idea (maybe the Rim Racer to tinker with too)?

Bring anything. If you have an issue, we will tow you out and fix it or give you a ride in another machine
